It reminds me of the need to abide In Christ, to walk with Him, to adjust to His programme and agenda. May God bless you abundantly in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I launch my bark on the unknown waters of this year, with . . .<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thee, 0 Father as my harbour,<\/li>\n<li>Thee, 0 Son, at my helm,<\/li>\n<li>Thee, 0 Holy Spirit, filling my sails.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Give me Thy grace to sanctify me . . .<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Thy comforts to cheer,<\/li>\n<li>Thy wisdom to teach,<\/li>\n<li>Thy right hand to guide,<\/li>\n<li>Thy counsel to instruct,<\/li>\n<li>Thy law to judge,<\/li>\n<li>Thy presence to stabilize.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>May Thy fear be my awe, Thy triumphs my joy.<\/p>\n<p>Length of days does not profit me except . . .<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0the days are passed in Thy presence,<\/li>\n<li>in Thy service, to Thy glory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Give me a grace that precedes, follows, guides, sustains, sanctifies, aids every hour, that I may not be one moment apart from thee but may rely on Thy Spirit<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0to supply every thought,<\/li>\n<li>speak in every word,<\/li>\n<li>direct every step,<\/li>\n<li>prosper every work,<\/li>\n<li>build up every mote of faith,<\/li>\n<li>and give me a desire<\/li>\n<li>to show forth Thy praise;<\/li>\n<li>testify Thy love,<\/li>\n<li>advance Thy kingdom.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cThe Valley of Vision\u201d from \u201cThe Quiet Place\u201d by Nancy Leigh DeMoss<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; As I reflected on the last year and God&#8217;s blessings this morning I re-read Nancy&#8217;s lovely writing &#8216;The Valley of the Vision&#8217; .
